Forsberg Display Designs MI Dept. of Information Technology’s New Trade Show Booth

When Shellie Budd, Coordinator for the Michigan Department of Information Technology, (MDIT ) was looking for a way to let people know how her department serves the people of Michigan, she contacted Forsberg Group, Inc.(forsbergdisplay.com) to provide high tech graphics, display hardware and design for their new trade show booth.
According to Budd, “the booth had to be more than just eye catching and appealing, it also had to be very informative. I worked closely with Forsberg’s staff to develop banners, background displays and brochures with high tech photos and copy to help present the department’s story. Our first use of the display was for Career Day at MSU’s Breslin Center. For this event, we used an interactive kiosk that was programmed by Forsberg’s staff to answer questions such as: job opportunities, skill requirements, GPA, etc. A fast moving, high tech video was also developed by Forsberg for use on the kiosk to present the major services provided by MDIT and to project the departments focus on using technology to better communicate with the people of Michigan. I was very pleased with the results. Our response from Career Day was up 40% over last year with over 80 people signing up for job applications. Many people stopped by our booth just to see what was happening. MDIT serves as the technology hub for 19 different state departments, so we will be using our new display at many different trade shows in Michigan.”
